All fluorescing-nosed reindeer will dim their lights for five minutes on Dec. 24th in memory of Arthur Rankin, Jr., who passed away in Bermuda last week.
Oh, sad. I loved so many of his Christmas specials. (ABC Family USED to re-run them, in one big block, some Saturday during Advent. They even ran the less-known ones, like Nestor, the Christmas Donkey and the one about the little blind child and the convent....)
Those specials were a BIG part of my childhood Christmases.
