Yeah, I don't get that. I do like Don Cheadle, and I do think Terence Howard is major-league overrated, but Rhodey's just not that much of a stretch. I don't get the switch at all, unless Howard asked for more money than they wanted to give him or he was a jerk or something, and there's none of that talk around.

And Rhodey isn't a major character. They can afford a little leeway in who they get to play him.
Iron Man, Spidey, Captain America all need a strong name to go with they character. But War Machine is 2nd tier.
Heck, they even kept Wesley Snipe for 3 Blade movies.
And I don't really see Cheadle in the armor.
