I feel bad for the folks who lost houses but all of this is super cool to me because I've BEEN to some of those places (in the mid 90s, took a couple of university workshop trips to Hawaii Volcanoes. I've seen Halemaumau and the Kilauea crater, and also the site of the 1980s flow that wipes out part of a subdivision)
