Comeback Album Impending?

After facing some personal crises, Opus the Penguin has rediscovered an old friend and begins to explain what it means to Rosebud the Basselope:

One can only hope this means they're getting the band back together, and that the followup to "Demon Drooler From the Sewer" can't be long in coming.

It's so weird to me that I remember the original strips this is a callback to. Like, remember, as in "read in the newspaper on their first run"

I'm getting old.

I've listened to Billy and The Boingers Bootleg relatively recently.

I never saw the original strips in print during this era; Mr. Gaylord's Oklahoman didn't run them. Or Calvin and Hobbes, for that matter. But I always bought the book collections.

Yeah, Brian, thanks to YouTube for bringing the songs back, although I guess if I still had the little floppy single that came in the book I might get a little coin for it ;-)

I am referring, of course, to that very single. Which I have.

Sometimes people think if they still owned the things they did when they were young, they would be rich today. However, that only holds true if you kept the things you once owned in the original packaging. Maybe.
